This is a prototype website for using FCI data from EUMETSAT MeTeoSat Third Generation satellite in fire monitoring. The Website, the data collection from the EUMETSAT server, and the algorithm of fire event tracking were developed in collaboration between Ronan Paugam (CERTEC-UPC) and Akli Benali (ISA) with the support of a NERO COST Action STSM grant. This was made during a visit at ANEPC in Lisbon in August 2025.

The algorithm developments were initiated for the SILEX airborne campaign that took place in July 2025 in France in collaboration with AERIS.

The setup was made possible with the support and collaboration of VOST Portugal - Associação de Voluntários Digitais em Situações de Emergência and their IT provider PT Servidor, that kindly donated the technical infrastructure. Particular thanks to Jorge Gomes (VOSTPT) for the swift implementation of this solution and to Francisco Esteves (PTServidor) for the prompt reply and support in this very innovative project that already proved itself in major fires in Portugal.
